a point of Dudley's weight being a result of his parents' neglect.
Which is it? I don't think Dudley's weight is funny, nor do I think
Vernon and Petunia are anything short of abusive towards Dudley as
well as Harry.<<

I have to agree. I don't see Dudley's weight problem as something we
should laugh at. It's okay to be chubby, but there's an extent.
When it starts to become unhealthy then it is a definite problem.
And I picture Dudley's bottoms drooping on the sides of the chair as
disgusting. Disgusting not because he is overweight, but disgusting
at the fact his parents don't see that this *is* a problem. Nothing
can go wrong in their house and Dudley can do no wrong. I wonder
how he walks? What if there's an emergency and he needs to run and
he can't because his weight holds him down. What if he has a heart
attack due to the weight?! I actually worry about what I'm going to
read in OoP! How big will Dudley be by then? He'll be 15 years
old, I'm hoping he hit a growth spurt and that supposed "baby fat"
will go away a little.
Greicy, who worries for Dinky
