I don't really know if there's a thread on this already; if there is, I'm sorry. I was just reading the chat transcripts to some of JKR's interviews, and I noticed the bit where she mentions what room she'd be in for an hour in Hogwarts. To quote the interview,

"If you could travel to Hogwarts for an hour, what would you do there?

Go straight into a certain room, mentioned in book four, which has certain magical properties Harry hasn't discovered yet!"

Now, most "facts and theory" pages I've seen just mention that Harry has seen this room and doesn't know what it means, and leave it there. I think there's an important part here which these pages lack.

"...mentioned in book four..."

This strikes me as a clue, possibly a VERY big clue, about just what this room may be. There are a very large number of rooms mentioned throughout the series, but this quote makes me think that this room has, perhaps, recieved some special attention in book 4.

I, personally, think this room is the Prefects' Bathroom. I mean, think about it. It's a large room with a gigantic swimming pool in the middle, which is almost literally overflowing with magical bubbles and waterjets. That sounds like a lot of fun, even without any added magical extras. Any thoughts?
