True.  Draco seems more like a name you would give a dog than a baby
boy, but it is not that bad.  In fact, given Lucius' political
aspirations for himself, he might have given his son that name so that
it sticks out as distinctive.  It does bring up a rather strong image.
 Dragons in HP land are not foul, mean beasts.  They are strong and
almost indestructable.  Draco should be glad his father gave him that
name.  It gives the first impression of strength.  Unfortunately, that
name may get him in the room, but it does not keep him there.

And as for parents naming their children rather amusing names,
well....I have always been rather fond of that practice.  Gives
character to a child and keeps them from getting too shy.  I have
enjoyed my *full* name all my life since it never fails to raise a few
eyebrows.  Especially when I go to musical events.

who is slightly amused she has managed to work in the play on her full
name in her last two posts.  It must aggravate those not in the know
though.  :)
