Me: Also, in Greek myth Draco, specifically, was the name of the
dragon that guarded the Golden Apples that Hercules was to steal as
one of his 12 labors.
In another Greek myth, the goddess Eris became jealous at a dinner
party and tossed one of the golden apples onto the table
declaring "Only the fairest shall have it!". Since Hera, Athena, and
Aphrodite all thought they were the fairest, a good catfight ensued.
Eris is also referred to as discord, strife, and quarrel and the
apple, "The Apple of Discord". Sound like anybody else we know that
has a great talent for spreading discord and enmity?
