I agree, it isn't the same thing at all. I took this quote to mean
that her attitude to *magic* is the issue that will be clarified by
book seven. In fact, taken with the "no, I don't believe" part, I've
always seen this as ominous prop for the Harry-reawakens-in-the-
cupboard theory. If the entire series was Harry's dream, the magic
isn't real see? Then her detractors wouldn't have a leg to stand on.
Magic *in that sense* would not exist....but if Harry takes back some
lessons from his 'dream', they might work some "real" magic in his
life in terms of self confidence and sense of good/ Evil...or some
other twist along those lines.
[note: the final chapter of book seven would then be rather short,
wouldn't it? I mean very few aside from Harry and the Dursleys would
survive a dream..]
Nope, I can't find a quote that deals with Christian doctrine and the
final outcome either.
