You know, it has always annoyed me that nothing more was said about 
this Feline!Hermione in the hospital situation. It defies logic to 
think that Snape didn't have to be involved in making the antidote to 
bring the little twit back to her non-feline self again. If Polyjuice 
itself is so complicated a potion, imagine how complex the antidote 
must be for when it goes wrong. Think of the permutations! Snape 
*had* to have been absolutely livid! But since her botched 
transformation didn't wear off after an hour and she spent all that 
time in hospital, we have to assume that as usual he toed the line 
and brewed the cure. Hmmmmm, he could have just said "She deserved 
it."
