Me:
Ooooh!  What if he goes back and pretends to be Barty Crouch 
Jr.?  Unless Fudge reports directly to Voldemort (which could be 
the case, I admit, though I'm inclined to think he's a more 
mundane sort of evil), Voldemort doesn't know Barty's been 
Kissed.  And now Snape knows Barty's whole life story, and also 
that Barty is on good terms with the Dark Lord because of his 
role in getting Harry to the graveyard.
