As we all know, Real Wizards Don't Apologize. Is
Dumbledore about to do the unexpected, and utterly
shocking: Apologize for something?  

That would bang all right!

Of course, since Real Wizards Don't Apologize, don't
expect the revelation to be too shocking. We can't
expect them to wrap their heads around the concept in
the space of a few chapters.
