Well I can certainly appreciate your logical approach!!!  However, to 
throw in some twisted logic (I'm a software engineer, so I like 
that), if it was important or key enough to be mentioned as part of 
the teaser, it would probably be the least likely person to say it.

My vote is for Snape to be sorry.  I'm guessing that he's not one of 
the people in your statistics - or certainly not near the top of the 
list.
