Me:
You know, Rowling once said (though I can't supply the exact source just 
now), that her favourite ever ending of a book was that of Dickens's "A Tale 
of Two Cities." In the book, two men are in love with the same woman, one of 
which (her husband and love of her life) is sentenced to be BEHEADED (yes, 
that's right) for a crime he didn't commit. The other man, a friend of the family, 
arranges at the last moment to take the husbands place and be beheaded in 
his stead out of love for her. Could we make something of that?
