Oh dear, does that mean that I'll have to give up my much cherished 
LOON badge? That serves me right for being flippant.

Back to canon though, I see Sirius' authorisation letter as a kind-of 
cross between a postal order and a cheque. It does seem to indicate 
that the WW does deal in representative money as well as the real 
stuff  - gold.
