I feel inclined to point out that this does not have to be an all or 
nothing thing.  Ron could be named after his grandfather while Bill 
could be named after his uncle while the rest of the children were 
given ordinary names.  Many of us have one or two favorite relatives 
that we consider naming our children after (though I admit in my 
case, the names were just too hideous to bestow on my children :).  
I'm not saying it's so, but just that it's possible.  Maybe we'll 
find out if JKR releases her background data after the series.
