Are you insinuating that Snape is psychic? He didn't know that
Hermione had committed the first two of those three crimes. The third,
OTOH, gives Snape ample room to dislike the heroic trio despite any
claims he may have made to Fudge about believing they were the victims
of a Confundus charm.
I'm personally of the opinion that Snape is a Right Bastard. Doesn't
mean he's evil, though, just mean prejudiced towards a group based on
his past experiences . I had several profs in college that I would
describe the same way, but they weren't baby killers.
