I've thought all along that he was a perfect Slytherin (aside from his
family, of course) so it would be bittersweet for him to prove in his
dying moments why he was a Gryffindor. Or he could do all that
*without* the dying part, but I just get so gleeful when I'm
predicting deaths :)>
It has been said that his bravery is shown when he defies his family,
which makes sense. Going against family is not an easy thing to do.
However, I am starting to think Percy's death less likely. I know we
saw him show concern for his family in GoF when he went into the lake
to help Ron, but I don't see much evidence of Percy sticking out his
own neck to help someone else. In CoS, he was quick to hush Ginny
because he was more worried she'd tell her brothers he had a
girlfriend than he was about her strange behavior. Now that I think
of it, Percy is *only* interested in things that paint him in a
flattering light, whether it is bragging about being Head Boy, handing
in early a report on cauldrons, or repeating what his boss said about
the Triwizard Tournament. If there's another side to Percy, I have
yet to see it.
Still doesn't make him evil, though.
