Bellatrix is another star, like Sirius and Regulus.  It's a blue
supergiant -- massive, bright, short-lived, and destined to become a
supernova.  And it's in the constellation of Orion, at his left
armpit.  (The more famous Betelgeuse is the other armpit.)
