Don't forget, though, that the lines "at the solstice will come a 
new..." and "none will come after..." were from two *different* 
smashed prophecies. They could both still refer to the same person 
(Dudley, if you must), especially since they were next to each other 
on a shelf, and also near Harry's prophecy. But yeah, they were two 
different prophecies: One given by an old man, and one by a young 
woman.
