 Me(linlou):

      I'm actually hoping that Harry doesn't get enough owls for
Snape's NEWT class and has to choose a different path than auror. If
he doesn't acheive the necessary grade on his own I *really* would
hate to see Snape get a little nudge from Dumbledore. I can't see,
plot wise, what the point is in Harry taking that class anymore. I
think that aspect of the Harry/Snape relationship has already been
thoroughly explored and the relationship could be better developed
(for good or ill) outside the constrictions of the classroom
setting. As far as Harry's career choice, I think his desire to be
an auror is based on his dealings with LV ever since he discovered
the WW. He has never *really* considered anything else and I would
like to see him have to go through the self examination necessary
for making a career choice instead of just chosing what is both
obvious and what he perceives to be expected of him.

 Just my two knuts-linlou (formally known as Linda but ther seems to
be another Linda so...)
