prophecy is because... Voldemort has not heard the whole thing, and he
does not literally know now that it is his life or Harry's. Voldemort
will never be what he was before his demise as long as Harry is still
around. The prophecy just confirms it in more ways then one. The
Order of The Pheonix core is actually HARRY. Dumbledore is getting
older and even admits in this book he has made mistakes. Is Arthur
Weasly really any match for Voldemort or even Lucius Malfoy? What
about Lupin, he's becoming a tired old man and he might not even be 40
yet. Sirius is gone and he was too risky to be set loose 100% of the
time anyway. And although I love Molly Weasly she's too neurotic to
be of any use. And Hagrid... he can't use magic. Harry and
Dumbledore is all the Order has. The order can't afford to lose
Harry. That's why the phrophecy was protected. I really believe it's
as simple as that.
