I have to disagree with you. Harry was totally clueless and
unsympathetic in his handling of Cho. Now, I didn't date much at 15,
but I can assure you that I was nothing at all like that with my
girlfriend at 17. Yes, there are obviously difficulties in
communicating caused by natural emotional differences, but really, I
would expect Harry to be somewhat sympathetic to her grief over
Cedric. Surely he has some idea of what it's like to lose someone
close to you. To be fair, Cho does overreact with the Hermione thing.
But his utter lack of understanding about Cho's emotional state was...
surprising.
