Boy, that was one complicated sentence!  But Dumbledore's not the one 
who "put Harry against Voldemort," fate did, according to Trelawney's 
prophecy.  Even if D'dore weren't involved at all, Harry and Voldy 
would still be matched against each other--to the death, it seems.
