OOP: A slightly different spin on the future signicance of Draco Malfoy (SPOILERS)

Those are great speculations on future Draco possibles! Definitely 
his dad's capture and unmasking as a DE will work the boy into a 
frenzy for revenge, and Harry & Co. are prime targets. Harry says 
sarcastically in OOP that students who fear him are traveling in 
groups - that they might be afraid he'll pick off stragglers. 
Something that Harry would never do, but Draco . . .? A sinister 
side must be coming out in the next two books, and I suspect a sneak 
attack (kidnapping? torture!). There's no other student who can be 
the evil counterpoint. Crabbe and Goyle are foregone conclusions, 
right behind Malfoy. Aside from Pansy, we don't really know enough 
about the rest of the Slyth's to guess how they might react to a 
really vicious plot. At one level, Potter-bashing is all good fun, 
and it's to be expected they will join in, especially if the scope 
is slowly revealed. At the level it turns to something obviously 
nasty/life-threatening, and/or promoting support for Voldy (or 
helping him achieve Harry's death), that's where people will be 
facing the real choice of whether to go along or break ranks. Snape 
could be the deciding factor as Head of Slytherin House, and I see 
some sort of meeting of the Slyths . . .
