I think this goes to the mysteries to come. I'm not sure Harry
will "kill" Voldy in the same sense as the evil characters kill.
It's obvious that DD's been sheltering Harry to give him a chance to
get acclimated to the wizarding world, his own powers, and the
political climate. In OOP, Harry's come of age, and begun dealing
with the frustration and uncertainty of his situation. His lashing
out is spontaneous (and maybe prompted in part by Voldy himself).
But it's not very likely DD's been saving Harry as a the series A-
bomb he plans to drop. DD has always shown mercy and restraint, and
is instilling that attitude in Harry. I keep thinking of the Gollum
analogy, but lots of people forget that Frodo actually failed his
test at the end of LOTR and only Gollum's greed saved the day after
all. I think JK may have a similar twist in store for Harry.
Maybe "love will conquer all" and Harry's greatest weapon over Voldy
won't involve an unforgiveable curse or wielding a secret weapon
that destroys his enemy in the conventional way.
