To be honest with you, I think that the reason Petunia Dursley is so 
disturbed by the howler is because her and Dudley are linked to 
Lily's sacrifice through Harry and Harry only, and she has been told 
by Dumbledore that without him she is vulnerable to an attack by LV 
and with him calling her house home not only Harry is protected but 
her whole family too.
