Scott, I'm in total agreement with you on the mirror.  I don't think 
we have seen the last of it. And you can add me to the denial list.  
I don't believe we've seen the last of Sirius.  JKR has stated 
numerous times that he was one of her favorite characters.  Why would 
she kill him off with two more books to go?  There is so much 
unfinished business with Sirius.  And she seemed to make a point of 
telling how upset she was by his death.  Is this another red herring 
and the reality is that somehow he will come back and the mirror will 
somehow play into that?  Probably my wishful thinking as I was 
devastated by his death.  It seems silly I know, given he's a 
literary character.  However, he and Lupin are two of my favorite 
characters.  If she kills off Lupin that may just put me over the 
edge! LOL
