I was thinking about this too while reading it but then, after 
nothing happened that could expalin the nasty smile, I thought that 
maybe the stress is on Harry ignoring it rather than on the smile 
itself. She almost aslways wears that smile and it is always very 
annoying, but this time, Harry chooses to ignore it, thinking of how 
great he has just done on his exam. It could be it, couldn't it?
