I completely agree... I've been hoping that he returns and helps
Harry. I haven't liked thus far how JKR has portrayed snakes as
inherently evil. I hope that changes.

Has anyone else noticed that every time Harry eschews the help of his
elders he lives to regret it? So much for the theory that these books
"promote the defying of authority"....
