I wonder how much of Kreacher was left after Dumbledore "persuaded"
Kreacher to tell the truth about going to Narssica and helping to set
up the trap for Harry. Perhaps there is a new elf-head gracing the
walls of Number 12, Grimmauld Place.

Dumbledore did pause before selecting the word "persuaded" in his
explination of the interview, after all...
