Because it didn't happen.

I know, I know, it doesn't make sence, but it does.

Think, remember back in PoA?  The first time though it happened.  Buckbeak 
*never*  Died.  Sirius *always* escaped.

It's a paradox.

If you change the past the past has already been changed.
