Hi people
Just a point against the whole "Snape is working for Voldemort"
theory.
In the graveyard scene, LV is counting off his Death Eaters and
says "One, who I believe has left me forever... he will be killed, of
course..." (pg 565 UK 1st ed. hardcover). Wouldn't this be Snape? (He
also mentions two other DE's in the same paragraph, who I am guessing
are Karkaroff and Barty Crouch Jnr, although he doesn't mention them
by name.) If it was Snape doesn't this say that Snape renounced LV at
least at one point?
Also, at near the beginning of OoP, Moody is showing Harry the photo
of the original Order, and he mentions Caradoc Dearborn, who vanished
and whose body was never found. Normally I would dismiss this as
insignificant, but this is JKR and Harry Potter, and she does seem to
set story lines up using offhand remarks (IMHO). So, what do poeple
think of Caradoc Dearborn showing up later on? (Pg 158 UK hardcover)
Norberta, who is new and hopes that these points have not been
discussed before, and who loves Kreacher. :)
