Maybe the reward paid the hospital bills for the members of the Order 
who spent time in St Mungos?  Could not have been cheap for Arthur or 
Tonks to be patched up after their encounters.. Unless the MOM has an 
excellent health plan.  Well, maybe it does for aurors at least.  Who knows?
