Did I miss the chapter that said "All Slyths follow Draco"? I must have...
US Hardback GoF page 723:
Dumbledore turned gravely to Harry and raised his goblet once more. Nearly
everyone in the Great Hall followed suit. They murmured his name, as they had
murmured Cedric's, and drank to him. But through a gap in the standing
figures, Harry saw that Malfoy, Crabbe, Goyle, and *many of the other Slytherins*
had remained defiantly in their seats, their goblets untouched. Dumbledore, who
after all possessed no magic eye, did not see them. (Emphasis my own)

See? "Many of the Slyths" does not mean all of the Slyths. There were some
that stood for Harry. Not all of them follow Draco. They might even be the
elusive Good!Slyths...I can't imagine the Bad!Slyths standing for Harry, can
you? It's totally understandable if Pansy tried to join and the DA said no.
But what about those who stood?

--A Real Life I Love the 80's Moment: I was looking at a picture of my mother
with some people she worked with, and one of them was wearing turquoise socks
with white shoes...and the pants didn't cover the socks...Was that cool in
the 80s? Matching your socks to your shirt? I was too young....
