Snape and Dumbledore

I have lost no faith in Dumbledore. He had to choose one of two
things, Harry growing up somewhat neglected or Harry being a target
for every Deatheater or Deatheater what-to-be, like Young Couch. I
ask what else could he have done to protect Harry. We saw how well
the Fidelius Charm worked. If the Secret-Keeper is unreliable, you
have what happened to James and Lily. Dumbledore could have been the
secretkeeper, but where would he stash him so to speak. I think that
Dumbledore did the best he could given the circumstances.

As for Snape, bitterness can always corrupt a person.
