Yes, and its not the first Kafka allusion I've seen in the series.  
In Chamber of Secrets at the end of Chapter 2 Harry's dream is very 
reminiscent of A Hunger Artist and there are a couple of possible 
references to Metamorphosis, one at the start of OotP and one I can't 
place at the moment.
