I think that Harry's skill at being able to throw off the Imperius
Curse is quite important too. Snape says that in order for a person
to skilled in Occlumency they need the same powers used in fight the
IC. Even Harry's first attempt to fight off Snape's Legilimens shows
that he is pretty good at doing such. Snapes says after Harry's first
attempt that "... for a first attempt that was not as poor as it
might have been." Which coming from Snape to Harry I think that is
pretty good praise. Also the fact that Harry could often sense
Voldemort's feelings without him knowing should be considered pretty
impressive. Harry's scar hurting because Voldemort is in a bad/good
mood is one thing, but to know exactly what he is feeling should
take a considerable amount of power. The attack on Mr Weasley was not
the first time Harry saw something through Voldemort's eyes; it was
just the first time he got caught. Harry and Voldemort share a
connection, but if you notice every time Voldemort enters Harry,
Harry can sense his presence even if he does not know what it he is
sensing. His ability to sense Voldemort when Voldemort can not do the
same, in my opinion proves that with some training Harry could be
good at Legilimens and Occlumency.
