I feel he did his best to teach Harry, but be aware that Harry failed to
practice and WANTED to see what was beyond the door so bad that he
really didn't want to close his mind. A bit of the father's arrogance
seeping through, thinking himself so special as to be able to just
handle Voldemort's presence in his mind. Or maybe Volde was using his
link to try and convince Harry to not even try to learn. Meaning that
Snape was fighting Voldemort in an attempt to get through to Harry. Its
little wonder he was flustered. To top it off, Harry dives into
memories that Harry KNEW Snape didn't want him to know about. Sensitive
stuff that Voldemort might have found out THROUGH his link with Harry
that would have endangered the Order and its members. Snape had every
right to be furious and throw Harry out. Its like a child opening a top
secret government document. The Order is lucky all Harry got was some
bits about Snape's childhood rather then what Snape does for the order.
Harry's stupid actions might have handed the whole Order over to
Voldemort on a silver platter..
