What I want to know is why didn't he go to Pomphry before a detention and get
a pain killing potion "for his scar" or "bumps and bruises from running into
Slytherins" downing it before entering and not suffering the same amount of
pain?
As to the Cruciatus curse verus Quill O Death...Well I'd say they are on the
same level but not. Like that really sharp pebble in your shoe that's poking
your bruises versus stepping on a long rusty nail barefoot sticking up out of
a board.
I've done both and I think they suck the same amount, but I can't choose
which I'd rather endure.
There's also the fact you're doing the Quill O Death to yourself instead of
it being done to you.
