keep in mind that Albus knew the complete prophecy-so he did what he 
had to do to get Harry to an age where he could enter Hogwarts and be 
trained for the challeneges ahead.

After all, in order to watch out for the whole WW, he must watch out 
for Harry (since prophecy says it will be he and Tom in a showdown)
