While I found the whole of this post and the following posts interesting,
this one part stuck out at me:
>Harry feels that he is much more capable than Ron and Hermione,
>having survived the graveyard at the end of GoF. His godfather is
>advising caution, which Harry feels is reasonable though he finds
>it galling to be warned about rashness by Sirius.
>
>Is Sirius assuming Harry is James? Is Harry normally rash?
Using hindsight, I think it is more of a foreshadowing. In my
interpretation, what Sirius is warning about is exactly what happens in the
end. Harry leaps, using his heart and emotions instead of reason. If you
look at it that way its rather chilling that the first one to say something
along these lines to Harry in OotP is the very same person who will die
because of Harry's rash, "heroic" actions. I call it as foreshadowing.

"Isn't life," she stammered, "isn't life-" But what life was she couldn't
explain. No matter. He quite undestood.
"*Isn't* it, darling?" said Laurie.
