re Snape eating or not eating

I have another theory on Snape not eating with the Order.  If he 
comes into contact with Voldemort he can't have too many memories or 
worries about possible memories about the order sitting in his head.  
Does he remove the memories he does have about the Order into the 
Pensieve before seeing Voldemort or does he control access to them 
through Occlumency?
