Mrs Figg/McGonagall

This is probably a long shot, but I have only found two people in the 
books that wear tartan, I could have missed someone and also this 
might not be significant but those two are Mrs Figg and McGonagall. 
And Mrs Figg only wears tartan carpet slippers and not even a whole 
outfit. The other thing they have in common is cats. McGonagall can 
transform herself into a cat and Mrs Figg has many cats. Also in the 
first book McGonagall appears on Privet Drive as a cat. They seem to 
be of a similar age too, quite old.

Any thoughts? Far fetched?
