I *HATE* Hagrid! (kinda long)

Okay, I don't hate him, but he sure annoys me enormously. I mean, 
he's nice and all, but I hate it when someone tries to force me to 
like someone else. And that's precisely what JKR is trying to do, 
through HRH. I mean, they even go as far as being angry at those who 
dare say the plain truth, that Hagrid is NOT a good teacher (well, 
no, Hermione agrees with that actually). Just because he is a friend 
of Harry's doesn't make him a nice good jolly friendly giant. He's 
dangerous, he's stubborn, he doesn't care about rules and caution, he 
puts his own fun before his students' interest (Blast-Ended Skrewts 
vs Unicorns, is there really a debate ?), etc... So I like him, but I 
really don't see what all the fuss is about him. Especially since the 
only reason Harry really likes him is because Hagrid is the one who 
came and took Harry away from the Dursleys, and because he says nice 
things about his parents. I honestly don't think Harry would care a 
bit about Hagrid otherwise. He would probably dismiss him as dumb, 
dangerous and uninteresting.
