Can't agree with you about Dumbledore, Ximena (for reasons I've 
mentioned earlier) -- but you're spot-on about those Dementors!

I have had the extremely unhappy experience of dealing with real-life 
human beings who are capable of doing things very close to what 
Dementors do:  drain the world around them of all light and warmth 
(by means of their own insatiably ravenous inner darkness), and then 
suck out the soul of anyone who's foolish enough to get close to them 
(usually by means of their own putative acts of intimacy -- the fact 
that Dementors steal souls by "kissing" sends chills down my spine 
every time I contemplate it).

It ain't fun, believe me.
