No, but it is telling, the karmic payback Ron gets for this action, just as the 
karmic payback Harry gets for throwing mud at Malfoy while under the cloak 
in PoA is to nearly get in trouble and lose the map.

And if, in the real-world, someone called my closest female friend, and 
perhaps my unrequited crush, a racial slur to her face, I just might box his ears 
for it.

Does that make me a pure and sainted hero? Nope, but I'd argue it's damn 
well justified.

Don't ask me to feel sorry for a cold-blooded racist and castigate those who 
attempt or succeed in taking him down a notch or two. It's not happening.
