JKR tells us in her interview in the Royal Albert Hall, that the 
chapter about Harry's career counceling gives us a clue of what Harry 
would do when he left school "if I decided to write about his life 
afterwards" said JKR. McGonaggal will help Harry, and we don't know 
if Snape would continue to teach potions, maybe he gets the DADA job 
after all, or even better, he dies! (oh, the controversy!). I think 
Harry should be a DADA teacher, stay in Hogwarts where he belongs, 
become a quidtich legend, and marry Hermione, who will be a great 
charms/transfiguration teacher too. Then they could solve loads of 
misteries in the castle together. Or, as JKR suggested (horror) Harry 
could die, she said in the same interview "how do you know if Harry 
is not going to die?" Oh, no! No no no!!! I want to think she was 
teasing and trying not to give away the ending. Hoping, begging she 
was only kidding.
