Harry has passed these classes every year, so he must be getting at
least 'A' (acceptable) which is the lowest passing grade. Since this
year he is being tested by independant outsiders based on standardized
tests, I can't see him getting below an 'A' (acceptable) on anything.
He should certainly do well in Charms, Transfiguration, DADA, and Care
of Magical Creatures, and he doesn't seem to be in any way bad at
Herbology.
I also suspect that all students will score higher on their OWL than
they would expect, based on my belief that the standardized tests are
are testing residual or functional knowledge rather than peak or in
depth knowledge.
So here is my guess.
DADA: O
Care of Magical Creatures: O
Charms: O
Transfiguration: O
Herbology: E
Astronomy: A (unless the tester allows for the distraction during the
test, then 'E')
Divination: A
History of Magic: A
Potions: A (or may even suprise himself with an 'E')
[O=outstanding(A), E=exceeds expectations(B), A=acceptable(C),
P=poor(D), D=dreadful(F), T=troll(is 'troll' a real grade?) in
parenthisis are shown the USA equivalent grades.]
just a thought.
