I thought it did mention in OOTP that his mother's first name was Alice. 
But what I'm confused about is if she was an Auror or not, because in GoF, 
DD only mentions that Neville's father was an Auror, but then in OOTP 
Neville's Gran says they were both Aurors. So now I'm a little confused on 
that issue. But I'm pretty sure it does say somewhere in OOTP that his 
mother's name was Alice.
