  It is also possible that Crouch!Moody meant to use this class
demonstration as a cover for controlling Harry, but was forced to
change his plans when Harry fought off the curse.  This would also
explain why he had Harry try so many times, he was hoping that Harry
might make a mistake and allow Crouch!Moody to continue controlling
him.  It would have made the whole graveyard incident much easier for
LV.
