Other solution could be not to kill Voldemort. A good Dementor's 
kiss, and the old scum would remain alive but unable to cause 
damages any more. Of course it wouldn't be very epic. But at least 
Harry would be safe (unless the connection between him and Voldemort 
is also a matter of soul) and free to marry whoever he wants, to 
become MoM, to play Quidditch, to go on holidays all around the 
world, etc, etc, etc... so all his fans (except perhaps Josephine) 
would feel happy, if not satisfied.
