Why Hermoine trusts Snape

I too find that "see no different" incident funny (and yes I laugh at 
boucing ferret too)! The comic timing was right on. D. was right. 
It's very much the same cruel humor we've seen often from Rowling, 
the usual Simpsons-ish humor. And I LOVE Hermione! I enjoyed my 
favorite characters being tormented with different kinds of 
conflicts, because I love the paid-off -- the moment they overcome 
them. Hermione's triumphant moment (from that incident) was that she 
became the crowd-stunner, with smaller front teeth ;), who's also 
Krum's date; she was the object of jealousy by every girl in the 
room. It is just the "K.O." moment for her! She overcame that one 
tiny itchy spot of hers. I just don't understand why people worked up 
their anger over that remark as if it's the biggest injustice, most 
horrible cruelest single moment in history of humankind, as if it's 
some unresolved injustice for Hermione. Because it's NOT! She 
overcame it! She moved on! She treated it as no big deal! (never THAT 
big a deal to begin with honestly, this is coming from a person who 
have to live with large front teeth rest of her life). Maybe I just 
don't treat these fictional worlds and characters "real-life" like 
some people, never feel the need to get all righteous and getting all 
personal. Because for-fiction's-sake I enjoyed seeing my favorite 
characters encountering these kinds of troubles AND overcoming them. 
The point is, Hermione got her triumphant moment (revenge) out of 
that incident, she's obviously not bother nor traumatized by it 
(seems to have forgotten about it), and certainly did not change much 
of her opinion toward Snape, and even encourage Harry and Ron to grow-
up and ignore taunts, furthermore to constnatly remind them to put 
trust in Snape. I feel humiliation for Hermione when people kept 
making a big deal out of this.
