My OOP Ponderings

Okay so I'm working on my 2nd time through OOp and I have a list of questions I'm hoping I can get your ideas on.

First, how did Petunia really know about the Dementors? I don't believe the reason she gave in the book.  I think there is something she isn't telling us.

Here is a quote from the book,  "Harry's lives had somehow become fused and everything had been turned upside down..." I think they may be more fused than we know about. What do you think? 

Why was Petunia so fearful when she was told Voldemort was back. He killed her sister who she doesn't seem to care much about- so what? There must be some other reason.  What do you think?

Here is another quote, "her large, pale eyes (so unlike her sister's)..." this is referring to Petunia's eyes. What does JK Rowling mean by unlike her sister's? Is she referring to the way they look or does she mean something else by it.

Is Mark Evans related to Petunia and Lily? I rather like the last name of Evans.  

What do you think was in the plan that Tonks dropped a candle on on pg 80 of the Scholastic OOP ? 

What's up with socks? They are mentioned a lot HP books and even more often in OOP. 

I wonder how Dumbledore helped Mundungus out... It says something about him helping Mundungus out.  I can't find it, but it's somewhere before ch. 9.

Who are all the witches and wizards we know who are in the OOP? 

Do you think anything Sirius' mom said is a clue? She's always shouting stuff from her pic. 

Pure blood families are all related.  That could be important.  Do you think? 

Who do we know who is order of merlin 1st class besides Sirius' grandfather and Dumbledore? 

"And I felt... as though all happiness had gone from the world... and I remembered dreadful things..." -Mrs. Figg. I'm curious to find out what she remembered.
